Face Lift
Stages of Face Lift
- Anesthesia Anesthesia is the first step in any surgery, and local anesthesia is only in the case of laser or surgical sutures, but if it is performed surgically, it is necessary to resort to the option of general anesthesia to tighten the muscles in addition to tightening the layers under the skin.
- sagging skin treatment The second step in the laser facelift procedure is the treatment of sagging skin with a laser device. In the case of surgical sutures, the surgeon begins to tighten the layers under the skin using the type of sutures appropriate for the patient’s condition, with simple stitches on both sides of the face behind the hairline. In both cases, a surgical incision is not required. In the case of a surgical procedure, the surgeon makes an incision on both sides of the face behind the hairline so no visible scars are left. If the case is not severe, the facelift is performed in a miniature, and the incision can be made on both sides of the ear only. In the case of a neck lift, the surgical incision is made at the earlobe.
- Skin Tightening Excess skin and muscles are tightened and stitched, and facial sagging is tightened, and the process may include implanting some stents or injecting some fat in the face to help restore the freshness and youth of the skin. The incision is closed, bandages are placed on the face, and the patient is discharged to recovery to start waiting for the results.
