Hair Transplantation

Hair Transplant is a non-surgical surgery is performed to restore hair to the area which suffers from baldness or thinning hair. It is done by transferring hair follicles from the back of the scalp, called “the donor area” to the bald spot “the recipient area.”

A hair transplant is usually carried out under local anesthetic applied by comfort injection, which means you are awake, but you feel no pain.

Stages of Hair Transplantation

First stage: Clinical examination

The doctor examines the areas that are affected with baldness or hair loss. The doctor also examines the donor area and determines the number of follicles needed for implantation.

Second Stage: Conducting the Necessary Tests

In addition to skin tests, blood tests are done to identify blood sugar levels to see if something hinders the process of hair transplantation.

Third Stage: Picking Out the Follicles

At first, the donor area is shaved, and the hair is shortened. Then the doctor picks out the follicles from the area using either the Micro Motor in the case of using the DHI technology or the Robot device in the case of using the Robot technology.

Fourth Stage: Hair Transplantation

In the case of using the DHI technology, the doctor implants the follicles using Choi Pens, where the channels are opened and the follicles are implanted simultaneously with one click.

In the case of using the Robot technology, the robot helps the doctor determine how the follicles are distributed in the area of baldness or hair loss. Then the extracted follicles are implanted using micro needles with double-cavity.

Once the hair transplantation is completed, a band is worn around the head to prevent the fluids from falling to the face and also to reduces swelling.

Are you a Candidate

Yes if you

  • are be over 25 years old.

  • are in good general health, without any health condition that affects or impedes the operation.

  • have donation area should be good enough for hair transplantation.

  • suffers from hair loss or baldness areas.

  • suffers from hairline recession or hair thinning.

Eyebrow Transplant

Eyebrow transplant is a cosmetic procedure that restores hair eyebrows by extracting single follicular grafts from the back of the head, which is the best donor area, and transplanting them in the recipient area (the baldness site).

Eyebrow transplant is performed under local anesthesia, using the DHI technique. DHI technique is an effective method that can open very tiny channels in the eyebrow area and implant the grafts accurately. It ensures natural eyebrows with ideal direction and angle.

Hair Transplantation Techniques
  • Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE): It is the initially used technique in hair transplant for women. This method is best used when extracting is up to 5000 hair follicles from the donor area one by one to implant them in the recipient area following the natural direction and depth of the existing hair for natural, guaranteed results. A Mega Follicular Unit Extraction (M.FUE) -Two FUE sessions with up to 7000 extracted follicles- can also be applied in some cases with enormous hair loss.
  • Direct Hair Implantation (DHI): It is the latest and the best technique used for women’s hair transplants. Unlike FUE, in DHI, the hair follicles are implanted one by one directly into the recipient area, without having to open channels for all the follicles to be implanted in the scalp. Each hair follicle is placed in a specific direction, angle, and depth, providing the maximum density possible; this method is usually used to transplant larger numbers of follicles.
